Hackathon Goals
- 01Promoting local developmental innovation by empowering youth and community members to develop practical, applicable solutions that address challenges in Mafraq Governorate across energy, water, agriculture, tourism, and trade sectors.
- 02Enhancing livelihoods and creating income opportunities for youth by transforming ideas into small/startup business models and clear operational plans that focus on sustainability, economic feasibility, and reducing production and operational costs.
- 03Supporting priority sectors in the governorate by developing solutions that improve resource efficiency (water and energy), enhance agricultural productivity and value chains, advance community-based tourism services and products, and strengthen local trade and market access.
- 04Strengthening a culture of sustainable local development by raising awareness of sustainability concepts and responsible resource management, and encouraging projects that contribute to improved services and tangible developmental impact in the governorate.
